WYC Reservation Policy & Club Rules

Welcome to Worcester Yacht Club (WYC). We hope that you and your family will enjoy your time here. To ensure that we maintain a safe, secure and comfortable club, please ensure that you and your party abide by the following rules:

All facilities at WYC are used at your own risk.
The right to access is reserved.
No Taxis/Mini Bus Taxis or Busses are allowed on site.
Day visitors are welcome from 08h00 – 17h00 at the prescribed day rate per person and per vehicle.
Space is limited for day visitors. The number of visitors allowed into the resort at any time will be at the discretion of management. Visitor numbers are limited for safety and security reasons.
Any personal property brought to WYC by members / visitors are done so at their own risk. WYC is not responsible for any damages and/or loss thereof.
Visitors are responsible for all equipment (such as Access Tags) allocated to them.
Visitors who are staying at The Captain’s Cabin must ensure that they immediately check the inventory list and report any shortages/faults to the Office / Manager. Visitors will be held accountable for any missing or damaged inventory as well as furniture and appliances. The Dam House must be left in a neat condition when you leave.
No motorbikes may be used by visitors within WYC, including quad bikes and electronic scooters.
Only one vehicle per site is allowed and this must be parked on the site.
No additional persons above the site limit will be allowed.
The speed limit inside WYC is 20km/h
Children under the age of six years may not use the facilities (ablution included) without supervision.
Visitors may not bring any animals to WYC.
No vandalism or littering will be tolerated. Please bring any cases of vandalism and littering to the attention of the Manager. Use the refuse bins to dispose of waste.
No fireworks of any nature may be used at WYC.
No sleeping/overnight in vehicles will be allowed.
Warm water must be used sparingly.
No loud music or sound system is allowed in the camp/accommodation. Music is allowed between 09h00 – 22h00. No music allowed after 22h00.
Please respect your neighbours and do not disturb your neighbour’s peace.
Check-In times are from 13h00 to 17h00.
Departure time is at 12h00. The Access Tags must be handed in to the office when leaving WYC. Should you fail to do so, your breakage deposit of R750.00 will not be refunded to you.
Should you wish to stay on after the 10h00 departure time, you will have to pay day visitor fee per person until 17h00.
No furniture may be taken out of the houses/chalets.
Should you depart before the arranged date, no discount or repayment will be awarded.
No personal alcohol may be consumed at the Clubhouse.
No fires may be made at places other than the braai facilities that has been provided for.
Complaint/incident registers are available in the office. Should you experience any problems, please contact the Manager and/or complete an incident form.
Anyone not following the WYC Rules will be escorted off the property and will not be permitted to return.

15 Days Notice – 50% Refund
