Things to Do at Brandvlei Dam

Brandvlei Dam watersports

Watersports

The Brandvlei Dam is the perfect playground for boating enthusiasts, whether motor-powered or wind-powered. Bring your skis, slalom, wakeboards, or tubes and enjoy the water. In-season, a rescue team is on standby, and minimal launch fees apply.

Kite Surfing

When the summer South-Easter picks up, Brandvlei Dam transforms into one of South Africa’s most popular kite surfing spots. During these conditions, all motorboats leave the water, creating a vast expanse exclusively for kiters.
